Grand Knight

This position is elected. The Grand Knight is the chief executive of the council. He is responsible for the smooth and orderly operation of the council. He shall preside over meetings, appoint committees, countersign orders and checks, read vouchers. Time commitment: 8 hours weekly.

Deputy Grand Knight

This position is elected. The Deputy Grand Knight is the second in command. He takes over for the Grand Knight when the GK is not available. The DGK oversees the functioning of the Program structure of the council and is responsible for whatever duties the GK may assign to him. Time commitment: 6 hours per week.

Advocate

This position is elected. The Advocate shall be the attorney of the council in case of trial and investigation of any matter whatsoever of interest to the council. He is also responsible for ensuring that the by-laws for the council are enacted and kept up-to-date. Time commitment: 2 hours per week.

Treasurer

This position is elected. The Treasurer received moneys from the Financial Secretary and deposits them in the council account, after giving a receipt to the FS. The Treasurer rights all checks after receiving properly endorsed vouchers. All checks are countersigned by the GK. Time commitment: 4 hours per week..

Chancellor

This position is elected. The Chancellor is responsible for the spiritual well-being of the council, especially new members and those who are sick or in distress. He works with the Rosary Committee to contact the members in the event of the death of a council family member. Time commitment: 4 hours per week.

Recording Secretary

The Recording Secretary is an elected position. He is responsible for keeping a true record of the doings of his council upon books approved and furnished by the Supreme Council at the council’s expense. He is responsible for all correspondence of the council. Time commitment: 2 hours per week.

Trustees (1 Year, 2 Year, & 3 Year)

These 3 positions are elected. The board of trustees is responsible for supervising all the financial activities of the council. Their approval is required for the payment of all moneys except those levied by Supreme Council audit the books at least twice yearly. The new three year trustee is elected, the current three year trustee move to the two year position and the two year trustee moves to the one year position.

Warden

The Warden is an elected position. He is responsible for all the council properties except money and account. The guards report to him. He is also responsible for ensuring that the council chambers are properly set up for the holding of meetings and degree work. Time commitment: 2 hours per week.

Inside Guard

This elected position shall attend the entrance to council chamber through its inner door. The Inside Guard also reports to the Warden and performs whatever function the Warden deems necessary to maintain order in the council.

Outside Guard

This elected position shall attend the entrance to council chamber through its inner door. The Outside Guard also reports to the Warden and performs whatever function the Warden deems necessary to maintain order in the council.
